Confirmation/First Communion 2012

Children from our parish will receive the sacrament of Confirmation on 3rd Mar. 2012.

Scoil Íosagáin first communion Sat. 12th May 11am St. Mary’s Oratory.

St Egney’s Desertegney first communion Sat. 19th May at 11am Star of The Sea.

Cockhill, Illies & Drumfries Schools first communion Sat. 26th May at 11am in St. Mary’s Cockhill.

Gaelscoil Bun Cranncha first communion Sat. 26th May at 12 noon in St. Mary’s Oratory.

Congratulations To all the young people who received the Sacrament of Confirmation on Saturday 5th February. We commend them and their families to your prayers. We pray that this occasion may mark the beginning of a new appreciation of God’s presence in their lives. Many thanks to all who helped in any way to make this day such a memorable one.

Sincere thanks to everyone associated in any way with the special Mass and celebrations in school to mark my retirement. It really was a memorable occasion for me and my family. Thank you for your kind wishes and most generous gifts. I may not get the chance to thank you individually but please accept this as acknowledgement of my gratitude. Mass will be offered for your intentions.
